St. Louis Blues Music Postcards

City of the Blues is a collection of 12 postcards highlighting the critical role St. Louis has played in the history of the blues. Postcards cover topics such as influential blues artists in St. Louis, the history of the blues and St. Louis, and current venues to experience Blues. Inspiration was drawn from 1960-era concert posters and jazz album covers. The black and white photos are sourced images, while the colored images are original photographs. The back of each postcard includes a description of its unique topic, ranging from censorship of the blues to the life of Eva Taylor. The postage stamp mimics compositional elements of the cards.
