As the lead product designer for Plannet, I designed the iOS app focused on creating a seamless, collaborative travel planning experience. I helped redesign each section of the app during a pivotal moment pre-Appstore launch, from onboarding to overall structure and individual flows. I managed the design system, and communicated with engineers. I was also part of developing a strategy and visual identity for Plannet, designed the website, product marketing emails, investor decks, and acquisition materials.

After first signing up and completing onboarding, the user is prompted with suggested groups and trips.

Plannet is chat based so all Group/Trip pages and DMs are accessed through their chats. Chats are the central hub of Plannet and include quick access to notes, pinned chats, polls, and other features.

“Groups” are designed for your social circles and can contain multiple trips. They are equipped with tools, such as polls and chats, to provoke conversation and make trips actually happen.

“Trips” are meant for a single trip and includes built-in travel planning tools, including polls, day-to-day itinerary, notes, and an expense tracker.

The trip itinerary breaks down the trip by day and offers an easy way to organize activities, meals, stays to ensure all trip members are on the same page.

Event/Stay details (date, time, location, expenses, notes, and documents) and trip member’s attending status’ are updated and tracked in the itinerary.
